How the Burned Children's Club started

A toddler and her slightly older brother were admitted to the St.Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns with horrendous injuries following a fire in their East London tower block home.

The consultant burns surgeon on call that night in November 1994 saved their young lives, but questioned how they would cope mentally and physically with the years of plastic surgery required to rebuild their damaged bodies.

His conversation with a colleague in the unit turned to the work being carried out in America with burns victims and the pair decided to find out more about what could be done for their young patients...... and the burned children's club was formed.

Since then we are proud that we have made an impact across many lifes and our plane is to continue to be a posstive influence and to continue to offer our services to anyone of requier them.

We are very proud to have some very helpful, generiouse and influential patrons who fully understand our aim and what we set out to acheve.

If you would like to be involved, offer donations, our just ask as question.....dont hesitate to ask, Contact us.
