The Camouflage Club @ The Burned Children's Club

Skin camouflage is the application of specialist cover creams to improve the appearance of scarring and other disfiguring skin conditions. Skin camouflage represents a quick, inexpensive treatment and helps to significantly reduce patient distress.

Trained therapists will advise on the creams and their applications, nost of which can be prescribed by a General Practitioner.

Both children and parents are instructed on how to apply the creams.

These creams are not make-up but are specialised creams used to conceal only the blemish and are appropriate for boys as well as girls. Most importantly they can be used on any part of the body. As you can see from these before and after photographs, these cream realy make a difference.
