Burned Children's Club Contacts
Club Co-ordinator. Pat Wade MBE, has been involved with young burns patients for many years, her role as a play specialist with the well known "Billericay Burns Unit" and now with St.Andrews at Broomfield Hospital has given her the respect that she deserves. Pat formed the burned children's club back in 1995 because she realised the need of rehabilitation support for children once they had left the Burn's Unit.
Since then Pat has tirelessly been the back-bone of the club, which supports young burns survivors and their families. Pat has brought the club to the attention of many renowned companies, organisations and members of the public who now support our cause.
Her efforts were rewarded in 2001 when Pat was made "Most Excellent Member of the British Empire".
